Solid Gold: Meria With 2 WW2 Veterans – John Brand & Ken Lenke

Ken Lenke, Veteran,Author

3/18/11 From the golden vault of the Meria Show is an excellent interview with two brave WW2 Veterans – John Brand and Ken Lenke. Hear these brave educated souls talk about WW2 and today. The Patriot Act, the loss of freedom, and similarities to Hitler’s Germany. 11 million fought in the military in WW2 none said the pledge or carried a flag into war. Real patriotism.Would they enlist today? Their thoughts on todays leaders and wars. Show was aired 8/28/02 and these two brave men predicted Iraq would become another Vietnam, something our “leaders” didn’t know?

All I have to say is ‘they don’t build ‘em like that anymore’ ! I’m in love with those two and everything they sacrificed for us has been turned around in this farce called ‘Freedom’ that we know today. A friend of mine who spent time in Germany not too long ago was having a conversation with a young German and they talked about WWII. My buddy said ‘Well,at least we stopped the Nazi’s’, then the German laughed and said ‘The Nazi’s didn’t lose the War, they just relocated – to The United States !’. I don’t know how you found these two gems, but what a great find. Love, Mo

I’ve got some other shows with them individually. One day I’ll find them and put them up. Yes they are American treasures for sure. Ken is a good friend of mine for the past twenty years. “When men were men” comes to mind. lol

They are great guys. However I think they are misguided in their admiration of Churchill and Roosevelt. Hitler’s war machine was paid for by the British and American bankers, the same guys who wrote the paychecks for Roosevelt and Churchill. World War II was a contrived affair and the American and British politicians, so-called leaders, were every bit as evil as the Nazis.
