Send in the Clowns with Meria and Dave McGowan

10/17/12 Send In the Clowns with Meria & Dave McGowan. We continue his series on Laurel Canyon which is exclusively to the Meria Show due to Dave’s book deal on this series. Start out with the debates, the “predictive programming” of the show “Homeland” and then get into Frank Zappa and Laurel Canyon. Excellent musician who never made the top of the charts; Zappa detested his own fans and the flower power movement, undisguised contempt; who he surrounded himself with; lifestyle very Manson-esque; Who was Herb Cohen? Zappa’s father – mafia? ends up working in military/intell his whole life; Frank’s appearance in Sicily in the 80′s – gun fest; mind controlat Edgewood Arsenal – was he programmed? Zappa dead at 53, buried the very next day; 1985 he gets political and becomes a front man for the World Bank, IMF and WTO? Zappa goes to Czechoslovakia and Russia; Who was Captain Beefheart who held his band in captivity and tortured them for 8 months? Zappas “home” in Laurel Canyon and more.

Dear Meria, I broke the screen to my laptop a few days ago so I’m navigating my daughter’s iPod, which is a mess for me. Another fabulous show with Dave, and on a more synchronistic level, a channel I subscribe to on YT – ‘AlphaMindControl” posted ‘Bad Trip to Edgewood’ like 2 days before the Zappa discussion. At about the 2:15 mark to about the 4:50 mark, it shows animals being tested so fast forward it as it is too disturbing. It was on the 1st of the 4 parts. The quality isn’t great, but it shows how badly we treat our troops esp. Serving when black. One thing that I can almost guarantee about Zappa was the fact that he was a confirmed ‘Tee-totaled, as evidenced by an old friend that was a roadie for his band in the 70′s & 80′s and Frank had a no drink/no drugs policy with anyone in his band and road crew. He told me security would toss them off the tour anywhere they were if they got caught. His music is like a crazy drug trip and after daddy offered him up for sacrifice, he didn’t need any more drugs. That was mind-blowing info at the time. Anyways LOVE being in on the exclusive info! Love, Mo
