I’ve worked in office jobs my whole working life (since age 15) and I can tell you that I am ready to retire at age 65. I’ve earned my SS payments, having paid into the system for 50 years. I’m still healthy and strong, but I didn’t breathe in fumes from laying asphalt in 120-degree weather for 50 years….or heaving steel girders for 50 years….or installing asbestos-laden insulation for 50 years. How can anyone with a brain expect those people to keep on working until they are in their 70s? WTF???!@!!
